SFIPC filed civil action against Phison and its former
chairman Mr. Pua in 2019, claiming that Mr. Puas
director position should be removed in accordance with
Article 10-1, Section 1 and Item 2 of the Securities
Investor and Futures Trader Protection Act. Today,
Taiwan High Court rendered judgment that Mr. Puas
position as the director should be removed.
6.Handling procedure:After receiving authenticated copy
of the court judgment, the parties will discuss with
attorneys to determine corresponding matters and appeal
to supreme court.
7.Impact on the Companys finance and business and projected amount:
Phison is operating normally. Phisons CEO Mr. Pua
had resigned as director and chairman of the company
in 2021. The court judgment does not influence Phisons
operation and finance.
