Phison Electronics has been committed to public welfare and caring for disadvantaged groups for a long time. The 2021 shareholders meeting specially selected LSY's japonica rice (蓮心園庇護農場無毒蓬萊米) as a gift to shareholders. The gift of LSY's japonica rice is not only practical and environmentally friendly, but also represents Phison’s implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR). 

The "LSY Social Welfare Charity Foundation (蓮心園社會福利慈善事業基金會)" in Baihe, Tainan has been established for more than 20 years, focusing on improving the growth of slow children. The care of each slow child is a touching story. In 2014, the LSY sheltered farm (蓮心園庇護農場) was established, with a farm manager, agricultural technicians and employment attendants to guide sheltered employees to promote agricultural work.

K.S.Pua, chairman and CEO of Phison, said that LSY Shelter Farm (蓮心園庇護農場) provides services and job opportunities for disabled friends, helping them learn a skill, solve family problems, and cultivate the ability to be self-reliant. In addition to treating the mind and body of slow children, it also gives them the opportunity to contribute to society, to protect this land with non-toxic and non-chemical fertilizer planting and solar farming. Through the opportunity of cooperation with LSY (蓮心園庇護農場), Phison not only helped these disadvantaged friends, but also continued to implement Phison's commitment to corporate social responsibility.

In addition to the establishment of the LSY Special Education Center (蓮心園啟智中心), it has also entered the community to establish day work centers (日間作業所), sheltered agronomic factories and farms to help the disabled integrate into the actual services of the community, and look forward to creating a better life in Taiwan.

Phison Electronics has been committed to public welfare for a long time, and this year launched a five-year "Fun to Go to Schools" program to support rural students in Miaoli. In addition to inviting colleagues to participate in the program and to be volunteers at LIYUES Elementary School (苗栗鯉魚國小) and NANHEPS Elementary School (苗栗南河國小), Phison also initiated fundraising and donation activities within the company. All employees are doing their best to contribute to the local schools in Miaoli. It is also hoped that such support programs can attract more companies to participate and help rural school children.

In addition to donations, Phison volunteer team also led the students to learn the “STEAM” courses, integrating the learning elements of science (S), technology (T), engineering (E), art (A) and mathematics (M) to help students learn and understand cross-domain knowledge, cultivating students' hands-on ability. 

In addition, the classes also arranged for students to learn about Phison’s storage products, including USB flash drives, SSD (Solid State Drives), and SD memory cards, as well as related storage applications. In the courses, students were also asked to design and hand-paint their own USB flash drive product packaging, and the students left unforgettable memories. 

T.H.Kuang (鄺宗宏), deputy general manager of Phison Electronics, said that he hopes that Phison’s five-year support program of "Fun to Go to Schools" can utilize the resources of the company to broaden the horizons of students in rural areas and enhance their motivation to learn. It also hopes to attract more companies to participate in the program, and to illuminate the future of local students.

自動車ストレージ市場を重要視するファイソン社がAECCアライアンスに参加

Recently, the COVID-19 vaccine has begun to be used globally. Although the side effects are still being observed at the initial stage, at least a new dawn has emerged for the prevention of COVID-19. In view of this, Phison Electronics (Phison; 8299TT) and Mediland, a medical equipment supplier, jointly donated 3 professional medical-grade high-end hyper light disinfection robots to Hsin-Chu Branch of National Taiwan University Hospital (新竹臺大分院) (Phison donated 2 robots and Mediland donated 1 robot), to make a contribution to protect the homeland.

Chung-Jen Yu (余忠仁), Dean of Hsin-Chu Branch of National Taiwan University Hospital, expressed his gratitude to Phison Electronics and Mediland for supporting frontline medical colleagues with technology and contributing to the epidemic prevention. Hyper light disinfection robots will be applied to the hospital’s epidemic prevention wards, intensive care wards and operating rooms. It is expected to effectively reduce the infection caused by direct contact with the source of disease by medical staff and cleaning staff, and provide medical staff with a better epidemic prevention environment. It is also hoped that the people who come to seek medical treatment will be more at ease. 

Chun-Sung Chiang (江春松), chairman of Mediland, pointed out that the chairman of Phison Electronics, K.S.Pua, is young and visionary, and occupies an important position in the NAND industry. Its entrepreneurial spirit of public welfare has been implemented early, such as the use of solar power to build green R&D centers, organic farms, and annual charitable donations... are all positive actions and manifestations of corporate social responsibility. The donation of two hyper light disinfection robots to Hsin-Chu Branch of National Taiwan University Hospital this time shows that Phison is very supportive of medical care after Phison’s previous donations to Taoyuan Landseed International Hospital (桃園壢新醫院) and Hsinchu Mackay Hospital (新竹馬偕醫院). K.S.Pua (潘健成), Chairman of Phison, emphasized that the risk of nosocomial infection has always been a topic of great importance to medical institutions, and the threat of multi-drug resistant microorganisms has been increasing year by year. Different from traditional low-power ultraviolet sterilization products, the donated hyper light disinfection robots not only exert its maximum effect during the epidemic, but more importantly, its clinically valid effect on multi-drug resistant microorganisms can quickly eliminate bacteria up to 99.99% or more. In addition to assisting in enhancing the effectiveness of environmental disinfection in high-risk areas in the hospital (such as isolation wards, intensive care wards, emergency rooms, etc.), it can also reduce the risk of possible nosocomial infections and provide a safer medical environment for patients and medical staff; Phison continues to do its best to fulfill its social responsibilities.
