This achievement shows Phison\u2019s strong commitment to R&amp;D investment in collaboration with Kingston to build a wide portfolio of SSD products.\u00a0Since 2012, Phison has\u00a0delivered more than 10 SSD controller solutions to Kingston<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>consisting of PATA, SATA, and PCIe.\u00a0\u00a0The latest duo of PCIe 3.0 NVMe controllers, E7 and E8, will continue to drive the next wave of SSD evolution for Kingston\u2019s SSD line as the massive transition from SATA to PCIe interface continues in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhison&#8217;s\u00a0long-term partnership with Kingston Technology has\u00a0enabled both companies to have a mutual and consistent understanding of the memory industry,&#8221; said KS Pua, Chairman and CEO of Phison. \u201cAs the 2016 economy recovered,\u00a0the\u00a0companies worked closely together to solidify their industry leadership in the SSD market as they\u00a0continue to expand their market share\u00a0through 2017, in the midst of a flash shortage situation.\u00a0SSD controller chip unit shipments\u00a0this year\u00a0more than doubled compared to last year.
