The S12DC QLC SSD uses the industry's standard of a 2.5" (7mm) form factor, which is approximately 1/8th the size of a 3.5" HDD form factor.

With it's small footprint and reduced power consumption, the S12DC QLC SSD enables the highest rack storage densities for SATA backplanes.

Reliability

QLC NAND SSDs are a technological breakthrough that uses 4-bits per cell instead of 3. The 4-bits in each cell means there could be one of 16 unique values stored in each cell, depending on the voltage level detected on reads, or the voltage level input on writes. Phison's R&D team has created proprietary technologies to protect the customer's data during reads and writes.
