Phison Delivers the World’s Fastest UHS-II SD Card Controller
Phison Electronics Corporation (8299.TWO), a global leader in flash storage solutions, announces today the world’s newest and fastest UHS-II U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) SD card controller, PS8036. The 55nm-process controller features the BCH 72-bit ECC engine, enabling excellent support for the latest 1y and 1znm MLC and TLC NAND Flash.
The new UHS-II controller offers maximum sequential read and write speeds of 285MB/s and 250MB/s respectively. When operating under MaxTurbo Mode, a SD memory card powered by the PS8036 can reach speeds of up to 325MB/s read and 280MB/s write, taking the crown as the fastest UHS-II Card today.
The UHS-II U3 SD card with PS8036 is especially ideal for 4K2K UHD pixel recording and playback, capturing every precious moment for professional photo shooting and HD video recording.
