Words from CEO
2025 was a milestone year in the development history of Phison Electronics. Against the backdrop of global economic challenges arising from inflation and geopolitical tensions, the explosive demand for artificial intelligence (AI) technologies expanding from the cloud to the edge has not only redefined the landscape of the technology industry, but also brought unprecedented growth opportunities to Phison. Leveraging its profound expertise in NAND storage technology and flexible “5+5” growth strategy, Phison achieved a record-high annual consolidated revenue of over NT$72.6 billion in 2025, and successfully transformed into a key player leading the field of AI computing storage.
Driven by the surge in demand for AI inference, NAND storage is no longer merely a container for data, but has become a core foundation that determines AI performance. In 2025, Phison launched the world’s first 6nm AI computing SSD controller chip, E28, and fully upgraded its aiDAPTIV+ technology to version 2.0. This innovation not only helps enterprises implement large language model (LLM) fine-tuning locally at lower cost, but was also recognized with the Best Choice Award at COMPUTEX 2025, realizing the vision of democratizing AI. We also achieved significant results in the development of the enterprise-grade brand “PASCARI.” Through ultra-high-capacity 128TB SSDs and high-performance PCIe Gen5 solutions, we substantially improved the Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of data centers, making tangible contributions to green computing.
In response to climate change and carbon reduction pressures, Phison actively implements the concept of green design. Through the development of advanced process controller chips, we are committed to enhancing transmission bandwidth while reducing unit storage energy consumption, thereby helping global customers achieve their net-zero carbon emission goals. At the same time, in response to severe fluctuations in the NAND supply chain, Phison leveraged its outstanding resource allocation capabilities and strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure supply chain resilience and stability, fulfilling its commitment to responsible procurement and operations.
“Taking from society and giving back to society” has always been Phison’s unwavering founding principle. In 2025, we continued to expand our R&D team to more than 3,500 employees, cultivating high-end technical talent for Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. In terms of social engagement, Phison not only invested resources in rural education and care for disadvantaged groups, but also supported the transformation of public welfare through technological empowerment. For example, the high-performance storage solution we developed received recognition in the International FHIR Server Performance Competition, demonstrating the limitless potential of technology in smart healthcare and public services.
Looking ahead to 2026, although the international landscape and semiconductor cycle remain full of challenges, the momentum of AI development will not stop. Phison Electronics will continue to focus on forward-looking fields such as PCIe Gen6, high-performance AI storage, and automotive electronics, while further strengthening various ESG indicators. We are committed to continuing to uphold ethical corporate management and work together with all shareholders and strategic partners to create even greater technological value amid the AI wave, while building a smarter, more sustainable, and better digital future for users worldwide.
