Phison PS3109: “World’s Fastest Cache SSD”
MyDigitalSSD, a supplier of solid state drives, recently announced the Super Cache 2 SSD product line with Phison PS3109 controller. This mSATA SSD successfully penetrates the cache SSD market with Phison PS3109 solution.

PS3108 Delivers the Best Real Performance in DramExchange Benchmark
Random IOPS is always a major index to rate SSD real application performance. This index can demonstrate real program performance instead of sequential performance. Recently DramExchange just did a benchmark for current 120/128GB SSDs in the market. Phison got the best score in AS-SSD random IOPS benchmark, which simulated most desktop/laptop PC application in real world performance.
Phison PS3108 delivers the best performance to beat all the other SSDs in this test. Therefore, SanDisk and Plextor using SandForce and Marvell controllers can’t beat Phison3108 in this test result.
The only one other SSD, which delivered a similar result, was KingFast. It use SLC NAND in its product, but Phison deliver the best result with Toshiba/SanDisk MLC NAND flash. It proved that Phison is the expert of SSD controller.
