Since Phison is located in Miaoli County, we have chosen to focus on local development by launching the ' Fun to Go to Schools' long-term rural service program. Over five consecutive years, Phison has invited employees to form volunteer teams to serve at Liyu Elementary School in Sanyi Township and Nanhe Elementary School in Gongguan Township, contributing to the improvement of these local rural schools. Additionally, donations have been made to both schools to enrich the resources available for children’s education. Over the past five years, a total of 94 volunteers have participated, accumulating 1,205 volunteer hours, with a total of 622 participants in various activities. The combined donations to the two schools totaled NT$600,000.

This year, the volunteers led the children to understand the issue of climate change, explaining in simple terms the reasons behind the frequent typhoons and abnormal temperatures in recent years. They also taught the children how to take small actions in their daily lives to contribute to mitigating global warming. To promote the concept of maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures with air conditioning paired with the use of electric fans, the volunteers organized a DIY activity where the children decorated handheld electric fans with butter glue.

When the volunteer teachers introduced that the wildfires caused by extreme weather in the United States every year can even spread over 2.5 Sanyi Townships (or Gongguan Townships), the children were visibly surprised.

Through this teaching session, the children not only gained a deeper understanding of the causes and severity of climate change but also acquired extensive knowledge about greenhouse gases and extreme weather. At the end of the session, they put their creativity to work and completed their own adorable electric fans. The volunteer team also learns and grows together with the children, striving to bring more meaningful courses to everyone and enrich students' horizons.
