In the trend of global sustainable development and Taiwan's energy transition policy, green energy is highly valued because of its inexhaustible, clean, and low-emission characteristics. Although Phison Electronics has not reached the standard for energy-heavy industries announced by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, we still hope to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions. We are aiming to purchase green energy to reach 10% of the total annual electricity consumption in 10 years, and actively moving towards the RE100 policy.
Phison Electronics and FOXWELL Power will start cooperation and transfer capability in the second half of 2021, and we will mainly purchase land-based wind power. This year's green energy goal is to purchase 1% wind power of the total annual electricity consumption, which is estimated to reduce 116,447KG of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e). We will continue to work together for global climate action.
