Phison has responded to coastal afforestation efforts and promoted tree planting activities for six consecutive years

Phison Electronics launched the "Long-Term Coastal Forest Restoration Plan" in 2021, leading volunteers to plant suitable tree species along the coastline for six consecutive years. This year, a total of 1,000 new trees were planted in the Nan‑Gang section of Xiangshan District, Hsinchu City, and the Shui‑Tou section of Jin‑Cheng Township, Kinmen County. On March 28, a tree‑planting event was held at a coastal reforestation site in the same Nan‑Gang area, where 36 Phison volunteers joined hands with the Tse-Xin Organic Agriculture Foundation (TOAF) to plant the saplings.

The species planted this time are White Bottlebrush (白千层) and Sea Mango(海檬果). The planting site was formerly a paddy field, so the saplings can be planted directly on the original land, and the survival rate of the plants is also relatively high. The support bamboo next to the saplings will be used to help volunteers with weeding and maintenance in the future. Tying ropes to them will help stabilize the saplings and allow them to grow more stably in windy environments.

Many volunteers had participated in tree-planting activities in previous years, but since it was their first time working in a rice paddy, TOAF's tree-planting experts patiently explained and taught the volunteers how to plant correctly. Everyone worked together to complete the tree planting, hoping to help the local ecosystem recover and maintain biodiversity.
